For the 17-18 school year, the growing media department will be making some changes to how we deliver student produced content. In order to better serve our students, staff, parents, and community, all of our media students will be combining their efforts into one news website with lots of different types of content. We felt like this endeavor should have its own identity. After all, each of our classes have their own special projects to look after. (Radio/TV classes operate 93.7 The Scratch and produce the Wildcat Weekly TV show, Interactive Media is tasked with creating The J yearbook, and our new co-op class operates RevRadio.online, and the Patoka Valley Spotlight program.)
With all that in mind, we wanted to pool our resources to create more of an all-inclusive coverage on our new website JHSMedia.org
This will be the new home of most of our student created content. We hope this is an enjoyable change that results in better coverage of the students and news of Jasper High School.
